Summary: Data download. Regular fieldwork. Deep soil CO2 probe in profile 1 showing dropouts. Took GPS reading of tower location.

We arrived about 12:30 PDT. It was sunny, windy, and warm (27 C). The field continues to senesce; it is mostly tan but interspersed with light green plants with white flowers. Veg height was about 50 cm. Water level under the bridge on the road in was high and we could see standing water to the north of the tower.

I checked the tower, downloaded data and did well depth while Sara did moisture point, soil CO2 flux, and spectral.

LGR readings: 1.86 ppm, 12:33, 27.3 C, 134.1 Torr (adjusted to 142.8 Torr), 12.58 us, 10 Hz

7500 readings:
CO2: 15.8 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
H2O: 650 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning)
diag: 248
p: 101.3 kPa
t: 30.5 C

MET looked good.
Soil CO2 looked good, except for the deep probe in profile #1, it was reading low, about what the mid-level probe was reading. In looking at the data upon return, this probe is showing dropouts from its normal high level to this lower level. We shall check the system next week.

I took a GPS reading of the tower location: N 38 02.198', W 121 45.239', -5 m
