Summary: Standard field work, midday water potential, no Floor CR100 data, MD9 network okay, wind profile system removed.

Phenology: grasses died out; oak trees; cows at Tonzi and cows footprints left at Vaira; ponds still had good amount of water.

Summary

Checked and downloaded data from PC at Floor. Joe fixed MD9 connections last week, and all data were downloaded successfully.
Joe checked and downloaded data at Vaira and Tonzi Tower.
Swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites. No CR1000 data at floor.
Collected grass litter samples for biomass.
Read dendrometers
Midday water potentials of oak leaves and pine needles
Measured soil moisture
Measure groundwater well:

Vaira_Grass Site

Fence and gate power: 12 v.
Panel and Batteries: 13.7 v; .7.3 amps; 2.1 amps.
Joe checked and download data and swapped the memory cards of CR1000.

Check levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES!
Check rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!

Joe swapped the memory cards of CR1000 and found out the card was not pushed all the way in. My mistake and lessons learned.
