| Twitchell: Took 5 clip plots for biomass/LAI measurement in lab - average rice LAI is now 8. Took 5 reflectance spectra measurements. Measured water depth, which averaged 20cm (about double what it was 2 weeks ago) and rice height, which averaged 35cm. I drilled some larger holes in the well, and it seemed to be measuring closer to what the surface of the water is, so hopefully that helps with the accuracy of those measurements. Unfortunately our Campbell dissolved oxygen sensor is held up again, but Frank located a YSI one for us to use in the meantime until ours arrives. He might have time to install it in our field tomorrow.
