Summary: Moved solar system batteries, reinstalled auto camera, fill 7700 wash reservoir.

2012-12-06 I arrived about 10:45. It was cool and mostly overcast with a breeze from the west. The fields are flooded and no apparent change in water level. I stopped at the trailer to pick up some wood for Mayberry and get the third giant battery to add to the site. At the site I took the power down to move the batteries. I moved the two batteries from on top of the box to under the new solar panels and added the third battery to them as well. The charge controller is still in the box and the power lines from the panels and to the batteries are still in the way. I need to buy a small box for the charge controller to go with the panels. I reinstalled a new camera using lock washers and sealing the cable port with silicon. I filled the 7700 wash reservoir. The 7700 read 2.1ppm and 9 RSSI. I cleaned the mirrors and RSSI climbed to 65. I forced a mirror wash cycle to make sure the wash system was working and all seemed fine. Last time Cove set the spray to daylight hours and I set it back to 24hours. The heater settings were: 7% power, 2C above ambient, 1600 to 0600. The 7500 read 400ppm CO2, 550mmol/m3, 43.8 AGC. The HMP45 fan was dead and need replacing next time. There is a 12VDC supply in the box that could be brought in. |
