2012-08-16 I arrived about 1pm PDT with Jaclyn, Sara and Cove. It was clear, sunny and hot with a little breeze above the canopy but almost none below. The corn cobs continue to grow. I sampled one of the larger looking cobs and most of the kernels were still developing. It looks like a sweet, white corn. We collected all the data and did the standard fieldwork. CO2 density was about 14mmol/m3 which seemed low but compared well with West Pond. I washed the solar panels. |
