Summary: Moved truck, collected all data, cleaned Tule sensors.

2012-07-05 I arrived about 11:30 with Sara and Carina. It was clear, sunny and warm with a gusty breeze from the west. The levees have been mowed – looks good and much easier to drive around, but the pot holes are hidden by cut weeds. We jumpstarted the truck, shutdown the system and removed the LI7700. We moved the truck to location two. I reinstalled the LI7700, started up the system and collected the data. I aligned the boom to true north. The LI7700 RSSI was 63 so we did not clean the mirrors. The wash reservoir was full. At the main tower I collected all the data. The RSSI was 43 before cleaning the mirror and 73 afterwards. The wash reservoir was full. Sara and Carina cleaned the upper DO sensor, the conductivity sensor, and the radiometers. There were a bunch of spider webs on the radiometers. |
