Summary: Removed power pole cow fence, removed cal gas tanks.

Sherman
4-22-2011

I arrived about 11am with Jaclyn. It was cool with a breeze from the west. Cows were in the far west part of the field. The grass and pepper weed inside the cow fence is waist high while outside the pepper weed maybe about 30 to 40cm high and the other grass and weeds are still kept pretty low by the cows.

The salvaged cow fence charger from Kevin’s stuff at Tonzi didn’t seem to protect the power pole. The cows destroyed it. So I pulled it all down again and will try again.

Just a quick check of the tower and all seemed well. Jaclyn knocked down some of the pepper weed inside the cow fence. I traced the wire to one of the soil heat flux plates that may be broken.

We removed the tanks of CH4 and N2 for use at Mayberry.
