Summary: Windy day, sorghum north of the highway is being tilled

Robert and I arrived at 11:10 PST. It was very windy, cool, and sunny; today is the day after the election and a Red Flag Warning day for high winds and low humidities. Our field looks the same as last time, with standing stover in most of the field and the flattened stover around the edges. I saw a tractor tilling the sorghum north of the highway. I texted Charlotte and she hasn’t heard any updates from Steve, but will come out tomorrow to move her chambers. Our soil sensors were safely under the tower.

I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and PA data. I changed the 7700 heater to winter hours; from 20:00-06:00 to 18:00-08:00. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. The reservoir was 70% full; he refilled it.

7500 read: 427ppm CO2, 186mmol/m3 H2O, 19.1C, 101.7kPa, 98SS--98 after cleaning
7700 read: 2.04ppm CH4, 45RSSI – 80 after cleaning

We left at 11:30 PST.
