Summary: Chasing LBL crew, quick data collection, missed camera card at first, upped tower power to 24.5V maybe lithium power pack will charge.
Bouldin Corn 2024-08-15 Daphne and I arrived at about 13:45 PST just in time to see the crew from LBL drive away. We were supposed to meet them to talk about a wireless network with links to Staten Island on DOE's dime. We catch up with them at BA. It was clear, warm and windy. The sorghum seeds look a little fuller and more orangey than last time. This is an early data collection since Daphne will be away next week. Daphne collected the data. I remember seeing dead beetles on the tipping bucket screen. I don't remember cleaning the sensors but they were cleaned. Daphne checked off a task about cleaning the camera window. The 7500 read: 416ppm CO2, 570umol/m3 H2O, 31.2C, 101.4kPa, 97SS - 99 after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.0ppm CH4, 46RSSI - 81 after cleaning. The wash reservoir was full. We missed the camera card at first but stopped by on our way off Bouldin at about 15:05 PST to grab it. The Lithium power pack still shows only one green status light and the incoming voltage was only 22V. We adjusted a knob on the AC-DC power supply to bring the voltage up to 24.5V - we will see if this allows the power pack to charge next time. We left at 14:10 PDT. |
