Summary: Licor system hung up - restarting both 7550 and 7700 fixed it, fixed 7700 spray tubing
Hill Slough 2024-08-15 Daphne and I arrived at 16:20 PDT. It was clear, sunny and warm and super windy. Water level was 4.30ft at 16:17 PST, close to high tide. This was an early stop for data collection since Daphne will be away next week. And it was a good thing we stop since the Licor system had a brain fart and only had two days of data. The USB status light was a solid red. Resetting the 7550 got the 7500 working but the 7700 was not connected. We couldn't connect directly to the 7700 either, but a power cycle on the 7700 seemed to fix it. When we left the USB was logging and the 7700 was connected. The 7500 read: 410ppm CO2, 630mmol/m3 H2O, 28.1C, 101.4kPa, 102SS - 102 after cleaning The 7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 5RSSI - 86 after cleaning I fixed the weak tubing at the spray head that we had to let slide last time because we didn't have the tiny cable ties. A manual spray and spin seemed to work fine. There were spider webs on the spars. The wash reservoir was full though. I cleaned bird poop out of the tipping bucket. We left at about 17:35 PDT |
