Summary: Standard data collection, West FD had bad stats left for now, went to the pond

Dennis and I arrived at about 9:00 PDT. The Park fire, now the 5th largest in CA history, is burning north of Chico but we haven’t seen any smoke from it. Today is very clear and sunny. The water hole still has some water but the stream from the pond is dry.

Dennis measured the well and cleaned the radiometers. I collected the flux, met, FD and camera data.
The 7500 read: 422.0ppm CO2, 601.2mmol/m3 H2O, 24.2C, 99.1kPa, 97.1SS

One of the FD chambers was complaining of high and low fluxes and had a high standard deviation. I didn’t see anything physically wrong. Need to look at the data.

We went to the pond. There were a bunch of grasshoppers there and a lone bull down in the green patch below the dam.

We left at about 10:00 PDT
