Arman and I arrived at 11:35 PDT. It was clear and sunny with a strong wind from the north. There was a small flock of geese near our tower that flew off as we approached. Fields to our north look like they have been tilled. Our field was probably sprayed with herbicide – a lot of the weeds were yellowed. The alfalfa is still very patchy – 30cm tall in some places but mostly nearly bare where it has been heavily grazed by sheep and geese.

Arman took spectral measurements. I collected the flux, met, camera and FD data. I cleaned the sensors.
The 7500 read:” 429.6ppm CO2, 412.3mmol/m3 H2O, 17.6C, 101.7kPa, 97.6SS
All seemed well.

The bolts on the T/RH sun shield were loose. I tightened them and looked at swapping the mount that holds the sensor with parts from the one we just removed from Corn but it didn’t fit. It’s okay as is I think.

We left at 11:50 PDT
