Summary: Water level lower, cattails coming up, attempted all porewater sippers and got 4 samples

Joe and I arrived at 12:10 PST. It was clear, sunny, and warm. The water level has gone down again and looks very brown. The staff gauge read 14cm. There are lots of green cattails coming up here, especially on the channel edges and immediately northeast of the scaffolding, where the “water” radiometers used to be measuring. Eventually our floating bucket will be in cattails, not in open water.

The wash was 2/3 full; we refilled it. Joe cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I downloaded miniDOT data and swapped its desiccant. I checked the Campbell conductivity sensor as part of its routine check every 3 months: there was a little mud in the orifice that I pushed out. I raised the sensor a bit to keep it out of the mud and tightened the ziptie it’s hanging from.

Joe tested all of Kyle's recently installed porewater sippers. He was able to get enough sample from 4 sippers: Green (50cm) and Black (40cm) depth from the Red and Black profiles. None of the other depths worked, and nothing from the Blue profile. We need about 30ml of sample total: 5-10ml to pre-rinse the probe and 20-25ml to sample.
