Summary: Installed new Moisture Point probes.

11/12/2010 I arrived at Vaira about 1pm with Siyan. It was clear, sunny and warm with little to no wind. Grasses are growing well, though hidden by standing litter. I installed new moisture point probes. The first (sn 00000128B97F3) went in previous location near the solar panels on the east side of the cow fence. The second (sn 00000128B8072) went in on the south side on the cow fence near the entrance. But this probe had a problem with the last measurement location. It didn’t work in the ground and didn’t work in the air after pulling it back out. I left the pilot rod in the hole and brought the probe home repair. The third (sn 00000128BDDE8) went in the west corner of the biomass sampling enclosure. |
