Carlos, Kanishka, and I arrived at 8:40 PDT. It's been about 6 weeks since this site was last serviced--I was out in late June/early July because of COVID quarantine.This was Kanishka's first visit to the Delta sites. There was some sort of fire in Pittsburgh on our way here, north of the freeway. We drove through a white haze and it smelled like burning elecronics (not like burning plants) At Mayberry, there was still a yellow tint in the sky but the smell had faded. Ari and I meant to come here yesterday when servicing the other wetland sites, but we ran out of time after spending hours at Hill Slough deploying the EXO sonde and checking the battery bank.

The sheep have been through here--all the weeds have been chomped along the grassy levee road, all the way up to the boardwalk leading to the tower. It was mild and the mosquitoes were out.

The staff gauge read 55 cm. The water level has gone down--I had to scrub the exposed section of the gauge to see today's reading.

Carlos gave Kanishka a tour of the tower instrumentation and they cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I checked the conductivity sensor as part of its routine check every 3 months--the orifice looked clean. I downloaded miniDOT data and changed desiccant for the miniDOT and water level sensors.

I changed the eddy clock +45sec from 8:01:15 to 8:02:00 PST. I restarted logging afterwards.

Carlos and Kanishka cleaned the dusty and poopy solar panels. The wash reservoir was 7/8 full; they topped it off.

The 7500 read: 414ppm CO2, 750mmol/m3 H2O, 24.4C, 100.7kPa, 96SS – 101 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 2.0ppm CH4, 50RSSI – 81 after cleaning

We left at 9:20 PDT.
