Ariane and I arrived at 15:50 PDT. It was pretty windy with some cumulus clouds overhead. The alfalfa has been mowed and baled and the bales were still on the field. I measured one bale to be 2.35 x 1.18 x 0.90 m. The alfalfa is growing back a little patchy, probably when they left hay too long the field before baling. The areas under the tower and the PL Arables we mowed 2 weeks ago are just a tad taller than the rest of the field.

Ari took spectral and veg height measurements.

I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I downloaded FD data and cleared its memory. Ari cleaned flux and rad sensors.

I checked on the undercanopy PAR sensor; it looked fine.

The wash reservoir was mostly full; we topped it off. There was a small leak in the wash tubing by the reservoir; I snipped off the section with the leak and reattached the wash tube to the reservoir. However, the tubing is still the original white one and looks worn, so it should probably be replaced with black tubing.

We swapped the LI-7500 for calibration: sn 75H-2669 came off and sn 75H-2176 went on the tower. I uploaded a new configuration file and updated the pressure coefficients. I changed the 7550 clock from 15:09 to 15:13 to match the laptop time. I reset the 7550 and checked that the USB was logging, the 7700 was connected, and the clock was still good.
