Bouldin Alfalfa

Daphne and I arrived at about 11:00 PDT. It was clear sunny and warm with a strong breeze from the west. The alfalfa is about thigh high. Fields to the north have been mowed and a mower was working to the northwest. Our field will probably be mowed shortly so we trimmed the alfalfa under the tower and around the two Arable posts in the field.

I collected data while Daphne trimmed.
The 7500 read: 398.6ppm CO2, 650.6mmo/m3 H2O, 20.7C, 101.8kPa, 98.4SS â€“ 101.5 after cleaning
The 7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 66.6RSSI â€“ 87 after cleaning
The wash reservoir was full.

We removed the Apogee NDVI sensors to use for inter-comparisons. Incoming sn 1049 and outgoing sn 1050 were removed.

I did veg height and spectral measurements.

We left at about 12:00 noon.

Tyler has removed his alfalfa chamber system and I thought about retrieving the wooden box, but it still has locks on it and a power line running inside. If he can removed the locks and power Iâ€™ll dispose of the box.
