Summary: Removed one conductivity sensor, dropped fluorometer cap in water

I arrived at 15:30 PST. It was a cool, breezy, and sunny day with many cirrus clouds. It had rained on Thursday but the ground was still dry. The water level was 30cm.

This was just a quick visit to remove one of the two conductivity sensors. I removed sn 7157 and its factory A547 interface to bring back to the lab. This is the working sensor/interface originally at SW that I had brought here as a temporary comparison. I will use it to test a homemade A547 board in the lab.

The raw values of sn 7157 (from SW) and sn 5688 (at MB) were very close, so we should be able to calculate accurate conductivity from the MB sensor using cond_ct, just need another data source for water temperature. Rraw at MB has not been saved correctly probably starting 2017-01-26, when we rewired all sensors from a CR23x to this CR1000. The error was fixed on by updating the datalogger config on 2020-11-03.

I checked the fluorometer data which still looked noisy. When I raised the sensor out of the water, the data did change, so the sensor is reading something. I unplugged and replugged the sensor from the cable, but the numbers were about the same. I'm not sure what's wrong. The lenses looked clean and the brushes were not blocking the lenses.

I accidentally dropped the floating boom from its raised position. The fluorometer cap dropped into the water. Next time I'll need waders to fish it out.

I collected met and flux sensors. The upper window of the 7500 was dirty with some rainwater blotches - I cleaned it and SS changed from 75 to 101.

I left at 16:05 PST.
