Summary: Tested tipping bucket, calibrated 7700, some NaNs in SHFP1 and Apogee NDVI but no obvious problem, leveled diffuse PAR, fixed leak in 7700 wash tubing

Daphne and I arrived at 14:05. It was breezy, sunny and mild with many cirrus clouds. The wetland is mostly brown but there is water under the tower. The water level was 25cm.

We tested the tipping bucket sn 50229-112. We got 104 tips but did not adjust it. We are hoping to have a better way to meter the water for more consistent tests.

The 7500 read: 357ppm CO2, 940mmol/m3 H2O, 19.2C, 102.3kPa, 86SS â€“ 101 after cleaning CO2 and H2O were probably better too.
The 7700 read: 2.0ppm CH4, 25RSSI â€“ 77 after cleaning.
The wash reservoir was empty. We found a leak in the tubing inside the wash box. I cut off the bad section and reattached the tubing. It tested okay.

We calibrated the 7700 sn TG1-0423.

SHFP1 had a lot of NaNs but the wiring seemed okay â€“ may need to replace that sensor.

The Apogee NDVI also had some NaNs so Daphne cycled their power. This might be an SDI-12 problem and adding code to the program to throw out the NaN readings instead of corrupting the 30min averages may be needed.

The diffuse PAR was slightly tipped towards the south â€“ righted. Now that we are using a Pi-cam mounted on the scaffolding maybe there is no need for the camera post. The post could be removed and the diffuse PAR could be lowered to the top of the scaffolding.
