Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, spectral, 7700 spray not working - fixed temporarily
| 2020-03-05 Sherman Barn Ariane and I arrived at 13:10 PST. It was a sunny, windy day with a cold wind and cirrus clouds. The grass looked nice and green, and we didn’t see any cows. The electric fence was off, and I left it off. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. The 7550 clock looked good. Ariane took spectral measurements and cleaned flux and rad sensors. When we arrived, the 7700 was quite dirty. The wash reservoir was full, and I think the bottle was pressing against the outlet tube again. I adjusted the bottle and the spray worked again, but it’s only a temporary solution, as the bottle probably jostles every time we check the water level. LI-7500 readings: CO2 413ppm H2O 568ppm T 18.3C P 102.0kPa SS 100--> 101 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 1.8ppm RSSI 3-->77 after cleaning We left at 13:30 PST. |
