Siyan and I arrived at 11:00. It was clear, sunny and mild with little to no wind. Things are very dry and the trees are turning brown but still some water in the pond.

Siyan did the soil moisture, wells, DBH, serviced the z-cams and collected data from the isolated data loggers.

I collected the data from the eddy systems and tower computer.

I tested two of the four the tipping buckets at Tonzi. I added a pluggable screw terminals to the wires to make it easier to disconnect from the data loggers and plug into the calibration CR23x. After connecting the bucket to the CR23x, I dripped 475ml of water through the bucket which should result in 100tips.
Tipping bucket sn 24872-999 at the soil co2 got 100 tips.
Tipping bucket sn 48130-611 at OSU SP1 got 104 tips. I did not adjust either one.

I also took two photos of the black body temperature sensor with the FLIR. One at 30.6C and one at 40.7C. This is possible for one person by hanging the black body on a pole in front of the camera and using a laptop with the FLIR wget command.
