Summary: LBNL visitors, Standard fieldwork, lowered Road Well sensor.

Where: Tonzi/Vaira Ranch Who: Siyan, Joe, Dennis, and two visitors from LBL (Jennifer, Sebastian) Weather: clear, sunny Phenology: oak leaves 90% yellow and brown; waiting for more rains Summary Swapped memory sticks of Licor-7500A. (Joe) Vaira’s Li-7500A head was replaced with Floor’s, as a temporary solution. Checked and downloaded phenocam images and met data from PC at three towers. (Joe) Download data from dataloggers of soil CO2 probes. Read dendrometers Measured soil moisture (Dennis) Measure groundwater well and download GlobalWater data. Sebastian helped to lengthen the cable of roadside well to let the sensor under the water level. Download IRT data. Vaira_Grass Site Fence worked. Downloaded Phenocam images. Swapped the memory stick of Licor-7500A. The CO2/H2O analyzer’s head didn’t work properly, replaced with Floor’s. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES! Downloaded met data Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Closed gate and didn’t turn on electronic fence. YES! Tonzi_Tower Site Fence worked. swapped the memory stick of Licor-7500A. download Phenocam images. Yes! checked the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors on the tower and the floor. YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Screens of met dataloggers: CR23X3 – floor-Met & soil moisture CR1000 – tower-Met Soil CO2 profile: CR23X5 – soil CO2 profile 7. closed gate and didn’t turn on electronic fence. YES! Toniz_Floor Site Fence worked. Swapped the memory stick of Licor-7500A. 3. IRT 4. Closed gate and didn’t turn on electronic fence. YES!
