Daphne and I arrived at 15:40. It was warm and sunny. The water level is still very low with no water below the tower. Mud flats are exposed on both sides on the deeper channel. There are lots of wasps here too. I chased some out of the HMP45 shield. The fan was still running.

We left the big ladder from WP for Ariane to use for soil cores tomorrow.

The 7500 read: 409ppm CO2, 483mmol/m3 H2O, 28.3C, 101.7kPa, 102SS â€“ 102 after cleaning

I cleaned lots of spider webs and cattail fluff off the eddy sensors.

We calibrated the 7700. After calibration we swapped the 7700 desiccant flooding the head with the dry cal gas. The hat and auto-wash spray head were reinstalled. Afterwards the 7700 read: 2.05ppm CH4, 84RSSI.

We also calibrated the tipping bucket sn 40415-1006. Initially, the ground wire at the data logger was broken. After cleaning the tipping bucket we connected it to a CR23x and dripped 475ml of water through the bucket which should result in 100tips. We got 109 tips. We turned its set screw two full rotations CCW.

Daphne replaced the rotting metal chain that holds the water sensors with a yellow plastic chain. The boom is now at its lowest point with its guywire preventing it from getting any lower. The flourometer windows were clean and it is still below the water surface. The upper EosGP is in the air and the lower one is probably in the mud. The miniDot is just below the surface. Daphne also put new copper mesh on the miniDot and EosGPs.

I cleaned the tule radiometers which were covered in mud thanks to our feathered friends and cattail fluff from the camera window.

I added a new 12 position, pluggable power strip to the data logger box. Right now only the HMP45 and the old power strip are plugged into it.

I removed the screw terminal currently fixing a broken wire on the HMP45 cable sn U2120013 and soldered the broken wire. It seemed to be working so I sealed the joint with heat shrink and liquid electrical tape.
