Summary: 7700 calibration, longer chain for miniDot, lots of wasps.
| East Pond 2019-10-22 Daphne and I arrived at 13:35. It was warm, sunny and mostly clear with a very light breeze. This wetland looks the most green compared to the others. Lots of wasps everywhere. The ones in the data logger box have mostly died due to the mothballs left last time, but there are still lots of them in the wash box. The water level was 56cm. The 7500 read: 423ppm CO2, 536mmol/m3 H2O, 31.8C, 102.3kPa, 98SS – 98 after cleaning. The 7700 read: 2.12ppm CH4, 37RSSI – 72 after cleaning. The eddy sensors were lowered to calibrate the 7700. There was a flickering 7700 time sync error that was fixed by resetting the 7550 box. The hat and auto-wash spray head were reinstalled and the eddy sensors were raised to measurement height. Daphne swapped in a longer chain for the MiniDot. The 7700 hat need new bird spikes. We left at 14:20 |
