Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, wasps in datalogger box, swapped HMP fan
| 2019-10-16 East Pond Alex and I arrived at 12:35. It was a cloudy and mild day with a breeze and patches of sun. Bruce and his crew are re-doing the Twitchell gravel road; they were working on smoothing a dirt layer. There were ~50 wasps in the datalogger box—we left them some mothballs. The water level was 60 cm. Alex cleaned flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was almost full; he topped it off. I collected met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. We swapped the water level sensor and miniDOT desiccant. Alex replaced the HMP fan and screw terminal because the fan wire was broken. I turned off the tower power first before repair, and checked all our numbers after I turned power back on. There was a flickering 7700 time sync error, but I reset the 7550 box and the error was resolved. LI-7500 readings: CO2 277ppm H2O 630ppm T 24.4C P 101.7kPa SS 36--> 98 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.02ppm RSSI 38--> 72 after cleaning We left at 13:15. |
