Summary: Reset circuit breaker for tower, cleared FD chamber data
2019-08-08 Bouldin Alfalfa I arrived at 10:55. It was a sunny, breezy, and warm day with hazy horizons. This was a short visit to get the power back on again after we shorted it during yesterday’s field visit. I opened the solar charge controller box combo lock with 7734. I flipped the 5A circuit breaker to “off†and then back to “onâ€. I checked the GHG and met numbers—they looked fine. I checked the HMP fan power line we had repaired the previous day. There was a nick in the power cable, so I disconnected power (black/white 10 gauge wire) and re-stripped the power cable. I reconnected the power. The FD software said about 6% of its memory had been used, so I re-downloaded the data. There was no data in the file, which is okay because the power had been off since the data was last collected. The tower power had gone out yesterday in the middle of clearing the data, so the data must have been cleared, but the memory status had not been updated. I cleared the FD chamber data again, and the memory reset to 0% used. I didn’t remember any buzzing from the FD chamber when I reconnected the power, so I cycled the FD chamber power (waited 1 minute before reconnecting) and heard buzzing. There was a 7700 clock sync error. I synced the 7550 time to the laptop time (the 7550 was 2 minutes behind), and reset the box, which seemed to resolve the error. The 7550 clock was on auto and the 7700 clock was on slave. I trimmed the alfalfa under and in front of the solar panels and washed the solar panels. I was going to do spectral, but forgot. LI-7500 readings: CO2 392ppm H2O 602ppm T 23.7C P 101.4kPa SS 100 I left at 11:40. |
