Summary: Reinstalled phenocam camera, wetland LAI by zcam

I arrived at 12:15. It was a sunny, breezy, and warm day with hazy horizons. This was a short visit to reinstall the camera that we had removed during yesterdayâ€™s field visit. I had set up the camera in the lab to take photos overnight, and it seemed ok. I installed it and waited for it take at least 1 photo.

I straightened the zcam post and added a 2nd hose clamp to try to keep it straight. I took 1-wand LAI measurements with the 90 deg view cap facing south. The quick-compute LAI was 1.16, which seems reasonable. The path to the boardwalk was almost too deep for my boots. Maybe we can add another length of boardwalk between the existing boardwalk and the levee road to make the path more shallow.

I left at 12:55.
