Daphne and I arrived about 9:30am. It was cool with a heavy overcast and misty. Later in the day the clouds broke up and it became mostly sunny but still mild.

Daphne worked on cleaning up the wiring on the tower top.

I reinstalled the Vaisala CO2 sensors. I made new frames that are staked to the ground with rebar and hold four PVC tubes at -2, -4, -8, and -16 cm deep. I used a drill to dig the holes. The tubes are pressed tightly to the bottom of the holes but I had to back fill some along the sides of the holes. There are now four probes at each location instead of three so I had to add a transmitter to each box. At Tree 1 there were originally four probes, but one of the original wires is now used for power control. We rewired the CO2 probes here to be single ended so that probe three and four share a signal ground wire. There should be a fourth TC wire there somewhere but I didnâ€™t think to look for it. At the Open box I removed the system voltage to add in the fourth TC. At Tree 2 ??. I seem to remember that the SDI sensor function used to get the data from the CR10x can only send nine locations so I sent the four CO2 values, four TC readings and the panel temperature leaving out the battery voltage.
