Summary: Last day of Ameriflux inter-comparison at Vaira, clip plots, grass height, midday water potential, pond.

When: Date: 4/24/2017 Watch Time: 10:00 am . Where: Tonzi/Vaira Ranch Who: Siyan, Joe Weather: cloudy Phenology: Summary Joe swapped memory cards of CR1000s at three sites. Joe downloaded data at Tonzi – could not get phenocam image or tower met. Downloaded phenocam images at Vaira. Read dendrometers Measured soil moisture Measured grass height Measured groundwater wells Measured midday water potential of oak leaves Collected grass samples for LAI Spectrum of Vaira grassland Joe downloaded IRT data and GlobalWater data Vaira_Grass Site Fence worked. Downloaded Phenocam images. Joe swapped the memory card of CR1000 and showed me how to swap the memory stick equipped in the new Li-cor box. Checked the fans of air temp and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES! Checked levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces.YES! (Joe) Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! (Joe) Closed gate and set up fence. YES! Tonzi_Tower Site Fence worked. swapped the memory cards of CR1000. download Phenocam images. Yes! checked the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors on the tower and the floor. YES! Checked rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES! Joe downloaded data directly from data loggers because of absence of computer (will be fixed soon): CR23X3 – floor-Met CR23X6 – tower-Met CR10X2 – floor-Met Soil CO2 profile: CR23X5 – soil CO2 profile 7. closed gate and set up fence. YES! Toniz_Floor Site Fence worked. Joe swapped the memory cards of CR1000. Closed gate and set up fence. YES!
