Summary: Regular data collection, swapped sonic and sonic cable, boardwalk 1/2 flooded.

We arrived at 11:05. It was cool, overcast, foggy. In some places, the water had come up onto the road.

The water level at the site was high. The initial portion of the boardwalk was flooded, but Kyle placed another boardwalk section on top so Elke and I could walk without getting our shoes soaked.

I collected the met, GHG USB, and camera data. We cleaned the eddy flux sensors and refilled the wash reservoir.

We swapped out the Gill sonic anemometer: sn 120906 came down and sn 153805 went up. The new anemometer has upgraded firmware to correct for the W bug. We made sure the N-orientation of the anemometer was the same between the old and new sensor.

We also swapped the sonic cable because Elke had observed an increasing frequency in nigh time spikes in the wind data. We didn't have new terminal ends, so we re-used the old terminal ends and loose wires, stripped the loose wires, and connected the old and new wires through a white terminal strip. The data seemed good after we connected everything.

The 7500 read:

H2O 425.2 mmol/m3
T 6.7 C
P 102.6 kPa
SS 84.4 --> 84.7 after cleaning

The 7700 read:
CH4 2.20 ppm
RSSI 44.5 --> 69.3 after cleaning

We left at 11:55.
