Summary: Wash box cable swapped, 7700 calibrated, straighten out wires, added ground wires, added cross bar, swapped HMP45 fan.

Mayberry
2015-06-18

I arrived about 9am. It was clear warm and gusty. The water level is still high, above the fence post and bottom bar of the scaffolding. They are laying gravel on the levee along Mayberry Slough. The weeds on the wetland levees are tall.

When I arrived the 7700 RSSI was less than 1. I swapped the wash box power cable then ran the pump and spun the mirror from the software. The RSSI climbed to 26. Then I cleaned the mirrors by hand and the RSSI was 73.1. The tubing needs to be replaced. It is stretched tight and has some damage near where it rubs the edge of the upper boardwalk.

I calibrated the 7700. The zero offset was 16ppb, and the span was right on. I replaced the spray head when done.

After cal the 7700 read: 1.925ppm CH4, 71.3RSSI
The 7500 read 379.2ppm CO2, 790.3mmol/m3 H2O, 90.8SS, 22.4C, 101.3kPa

I spent some time rerouting cables. I moved the power distribution box to a position directly below the wash box. This gave some slack in the sonic power cable. I had to disconnect power to the eddy sensors to straighten out the cables. All was running after I was done.

I replaced the scaffolding cross brace that was broken when the scaffolding fell over.

I added ground wires to the multiplexors, 23x, and 7550 box.

I swapped the HMP45 fan. When I removed the bolts to free the solar shield plates, a gust of wind blew five of the plates off and into the water. I was able to recover three of them. We need to swap out the shield next time.

I tightened the U-bolts on the wooden 2x4s that the eddy post is mounted to. It looks like the bolts on the end near the sensors may have slipped down a bit. We might need to check the level of the sensors.
