Summary: Checked on soil co2 system and radiometers, did soil respiration.
| Alfalfa 2014-09-10 I arrived about 11am with Sara. The field to the west was mowed a few days ago, but the field to the east is still mostly un-mowed. There was water in the ditch to the south of the field. It was clear and hot with little to no wind. I didn’t see anything wrong with the soil CO2 system and it has recovered some since it dropped after mowing. I downloaded the data. I downloaded the radiation data and thought the power problems had been fixed by cleaning the solar panel last time. However, looking at the data later in the lab, seems it’s still dropping out. I was going to power it from the soil CO2 system but didn’t want to poke that system again just yet. Next time. Sara did the 6400 soil measurements. |
