Summary: Checked portable tower at LowVeg site. Water samples at permanent tower.
| Mayberry 2014-06-12 Portable Tower We arrived at the Low Veg portable tower site at about 9:00 PDT. It was sunny, very windy and chilly. Cove and Dennis will be at Mayberry tomorrow to move the tower (stay tuned for Cove’s notes on that), but we wanted to check the 7700 data since it’s been experiences lots of line lock dropouts. Sure enough when looking at the data Joe noticed that the problem was still occurring. We swapped the 7700 power cable hoping that that might fix the problem. Cove will let us know if it did, otherwise he’ll swap the 7700 for the new one we just received. The RSSI was also about 9%. Looks like water had rolled across the upper mirror. After cleaning the RSSI was about 80. Permanent Tower All ok. I checked the data while Kathleen took water samples (2 in veg, 3 in open water). Cove and Dennis will be there tomorrow for a more thorough site visit. |
