Twitchell Rice
2014-05-29

We arrived about 13:45 PDT. Hot and sunny with a decent breeze. The rice seedlings are 10-15 cm high, field not flooded yet. There are quite a few weeds in the field. We checked the tower, did spectral and veg height measurements.

Downloaded data. No camera pics.

Checked well depth (readings 0.0 pressure). Well depth was 83 cm, just a few cm below the level of the water pressure sensor.
There was a note to check the air pressure. It seemed fine.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 394 ppm (398 after cleaning)
H2O = 345 mmol m-3 (320 after cleaning)
signal strength = 80.3% (80.8% after cleaning)
p = 101.7 kPa
t = 30.6 C
sos: 350.5 m s-1

7700 readings:
CH4 = 1.9 ppm (same after cleaning)
RSSI = 56% (68% after cleaning)
Res full.

Met looked good.

Veg Height (cm): Tape measure from ground to top of plant
