Summary: Standard fieldwork. Weird mux problem with heat flux plates. Moved GHF plates to CR1000, good readings. All good.
| Twitchell Alfalfa 2014-04-10 We arrived about 13:30 PDT. It was sunny and warm with a mild breeze. Alfalfa growing steadily. Sara did spectral measurements and a veg height survey while Joe and I downloaded data and did some troubleshooting of the heat flux plates. Seems the multiplexor channels went dead for some reason. We dug up SHF1 and it worked fine, and the voltage was even fine at the mux channels, but no readings were getting through to the CR1000 (but all other sensors on the mux were reading fine). Joe moved the GHF plates over to the CR1000 Diff channels 5-7 and adjusted the program. Readings were fine when we left. 7500 readings: CO2 = 391 ppm H2O = 603 mmol m-3 SS = 92.69% I cleaned the sensor but forgot to check the readings after. Cleaned radiation sensors. Met ok. Rad ok. |
