Summary: Did rain gauge test, check measurements next time. Rotated radiation boom, releveled tower.
| Twitchell Rice 2014-04-10 We arrived about 11:30 PDT. Sunny and warm with a mild breeze. Nothing going on at this site except for some cattails. We downloaded data, rotated the radiation boom to point toward the west southwest, re-leveled the tower, and did a rain-gauge test. Need to check the amount of ‘rain’ recorded in the next data collection or site visit, and adjust the gauge accordingly. 7500 readings: CO2 = 414 ppm (same after cleaning) H2O = 568 mmol m-3 (same after cleaning) signal strength = 80.55% (81.1% after cleaning) sos: 345.7 m s-1 p = 102.1 kPa t = 20 C 7700 readings: CH4 = 2.0 ppm (same after cleaning) RSSI = 53% (73% after cleaning) Reservoir was full. Met looked good. Cleaned radiation sensors. |
