Summary: Regular field work. All good.

Twitchell Alfalfa
2014-04-03

We arrived about 13:40 PDT. It was cloudy, cool, with a light breeze. Alfalfa growing steadily. I checked the readings while Patty did spectral and clip plots. After I did LAI 2000 measurements and measured veg height. All looked good except the soil heat flux measurements which were all giving zero this week.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 393 ppm
H2O = 425 mmol m-3
SS = 93.29
sos = 344.0 m s-1
t 17.31 C
p 101.84 kPa

Veg Height (cm): Tape measure from ground to top of plant
42, 36, 40, 42, 36, 30, 40, 33, 37, 23, 32, 28, 34, 44, 38, 43, 40, 40, 36, 34, avg = 36.4, stdev = 5.39
