Summary: 7550 firmware update. Data download. Recent rains gave tower a bath. All generally well.

We arrived about 09:50 PST. It was partly cloudy, windy, and cold. Laurie went out to the tule tower to take water samples and clean the instruments while I attended to the tower.

I downloaded data and did a firmware update to the 7550 (v. 6.5.5). I had a new Met program and conductivity probe ready to install but was a spacehead this morning and brought the wiring diagram but not the conductivity probe. Will install on Monday of next week.

After replacing the DO probe electrolyte a few weeks ago, Ive noted that the DO probes are showing some nice differences among the open water (reading 12), surface water (reading 19), and tule (reading 5) sites. This could be a coincidence but also a good a reminder to keep them clean and change the electrolyte often.

The rain did a nice cleaning of the tower, everything was pretty spick and span.

7500 readings:
CO2: 395 ppm (401 after cleaning)
H2O: 312 mmol m-3 (260 after cleaning)
signal strength = 96.7% (98.0% after cleaning)
t: 12.4 C
p = 101.5 kPa
sos = 340.4 m s-1

Current 7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.0 ppm (same after cleaning)
RSSI = 66% (88 after cleaning)
The reservoir was full. Refilled.

MET looked good.
The camera was off when I downloaded the images.
