Summary: Improved autocam mounting, checked the system - no problems found.

2012-06-29 I arrived about 1pm with Sara and Carina. It was clear, sunny and warm with a wind out of the west to keep it comfortable. The water level in the field might be a little lower. The rice doesn’t look so good with big bare spots. The area under our radiometers looks kind of bare. I moved the autocam to the other side of the 4x4 post and added a folding boom that allows the camera to be lowered for service. I need to add clips on the boom to keep the power wire out of the way. The camera view may have changed a little. The data systems seemed okay. The LI7700 RSSI was 29. After cleaning it was 65. Sara refilled the wash reservoir. |
