DWR Corn
2012-06-29 I arrived about 2:30pm PDT. Sara and Carina were already there doing the field work. It was clear, sunny and warm with a west wind keeping it comfortable. The corn continues to grow. It is about knee high (knee high by the 4th of July). The filled in rows are growing by still way behind the originals. The rows near the tower in the east field below the radiometers are a bit sparse. I swapped out the HMP60 solar shield with one that had a ventilation fan. I fixed a setting on the autocam the kept the display on. The display now goes off in 30 seconds. I added bird spikes to the sonic and the LI7500A head. Sara download all the data from the CR1000 met data logger and uploaded a new program to make the air pressure field high resolution. Carina moved the three theta soil moisture probes from the surface to -10, -20 and -30 cm below the surface. |
