Sherman Island: 2011-07-14 11:15:00 (DOY 195)
Author: Jaclyn Hatala
Others: Jose Luis Sanchez, Maribel Jaquez

Summary: Sherman computer crashed, Moisture Point out of batteries, normal round of canopy measurements

Arrived at Sherman Island around 11:15am. Getting warmer (about 18C) with light winds from the southwest.

Data/Instruments: PC in the box was not working - tried disconnecting/reconnection power supply and still nothing (there is still power to the whole box, so not a site power problem). Pulled the computer and its power supply for Joe to check in the lab. Downloaded data from the CR10X loggers for soil CO2, but could not get the computer to talk to the Met CR10X to download data directly despite trying every possible combination of cords.

Field measurements: Moisture Point was acting weird, and couldn't make measurements. Am charging it in the lab to see if that was the issue. Measured well depths, Maribel and Jose did 10 spectral measurements, and in addition measurements at the height of the LED sensor. Took 5 clip plots for LAI/biomass measurement in the lab.
