Summary: Replaced upper boardwalk, HOT and windy
| 2024-06-04 Hill Slough Joe and I arrived at 14:20 PST (15:20 PDT). This was a quick stop to replace the plywood in the upper boardwalk. Arman and I tried yesterday but couldn’t get some of the bolts out. Joe snapped the old plywood in separate pieces and brought it back to campus to discard. The staff gauge read 5.5ft at 14:35 PST. It was super hot--The car said it was 40.5C (105F). It was also windy, which kept us a few degrees cooler. We left at 14:35 PST (15:35 PDT). |
