Summary: Hot day got early start, standard field work, need to do end of year clip plots and clean phenocam window

Daphne and I arrived at about 8:15 PDT. It was clear sunny and warm with a nice breeze oddly from the west. Under heat dome conditions I think we usually have an east wind. The grasses are mostly brown but still a little green mixed in in the low wet places. Veg height is between knee and shoulder – call it 40cm. The grass didn’t feel crispy, but like it had a little moisture. The water hole still had water.

Daphne read the well and did spectral. I collected the met, flux, FD and camera data. All seemed well.
The 7500 read: 447.1ppm CO2, 610.2mmol/m3 H2O, 22.7C, 99.3kPa, 104.2SS

The camera has some spider webs on it that need cleaning next time. I cleaned spider webs off of the eddy sensors and cleaned the radiometers including the Mark 3.

We left at about 8:50 PDT
