Summary: Low tide, reinstalled EXO after calibration with new auto wiper

I arrived at 9:20 PDT. It was mild and surprisingly still. Tide was low. The bunches of cattails and tule near the boardwalk are not visible – hopefully their above ground parts have just been washed away and they will re-sprout as the weather gets warmer. The staff gauge read 3.88ft at 8:23 PST.

This was just a quick stop to reinstall the freshly calibrated EXO in the channel. I lowered the chain three links. This put the top of the sensor guard at the water surface. The top of the miniDot was peeking above the water surface.

Initially I didn’t wait long enough for the EXO to make a reading and was worried that the battery voltage was reporting -99999. But after bothering Daphne by phone it finally made a reading (every 5min) and all seemed well.

I left at about 9:40 PDT.
