Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, a little more water in the channel, lowered miniDOT slightly, PARin sensor was muddy--cleaned
2022-11-18 Mayberry Ari and I arrived at 10:15 PST. It was cool and breezy with clear skies. There is finally a little more water in the channel! It is still dry under the tower, but at least the channel has one continuous water body now. The water level was below the staff gauge. When we arrived, the eosGP was barely in the water and the miniDOT was about a few cm above the water. We cleaned the copper screens and sensing surfaces of both sensors, which mostly had dried plant matter stuck in them. I re-hung the miniDOT one link lower on the plastic yellow chain so now when the boom is lowered, both sensors are barely in the water. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I changed the eddy clock +20sec from 10:29:30 to 10:29:50 and restarted logging. Ari cleaned flux and rad sensors. The PARin sensor was quite muddy before Ari cleaned it. I downloaded the miniDOT data and swapped its desiccant. The wash was 90% full; we topped it off. There were still some wasps in the box even though the lid has been open. The 7500 read: 428ppm CO2, 336mmol/m3 H2O, 17.7C, 101.2kPa, 100SS --101 after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.1ppm CH4, 62RSSI – 85 after cleaning We left at 10:45 PST to head to the SW hotspot location and remove the hotspot sampling equipment. |
