Summary: Water near normal, Diffuse PAR tilted north, swapped 7700 desiccant bottle, Sheep have been weed eating, smashed tules in front of solar panels
Mayberry 2022-12-13 I arrived at about 11:50. It was clear, sunny and cool with little to no wind. There were sheep along the main levee and south edge of the wetland. I had to go through two sheep fence gates. Seems like sheep did a good job weed eating recently around the solar panels and on the berm near our tower. The water level was 22cm and looked brown. I collected the USB, camera, met and minidot data. The 7500 read: 420.6ppm CO2, 310.1mmol/m3 H2O, 11.1C, 101.3kPa, 100.8SS – pressure seems low The 7700 read: 2.03ppm CH4, 60.0RSSI – 85.7 after cleaning I refilled the wash reservoir by half. There were lots of wasps in the box because the lid was closed – I left the lid open. The 7700 humidity was 31%. I pulled the desiccant bottle, refilled it with silica and replaced it. Afterwards the humidity was still 31% so at least I didn’t make it worse. The diffuse PAR was tilted to the north and dirty from bird feet. I cleaned it, leveled it and tried to tighten the bolts. I cleaned the tipping bucket – just some cattail fluff in it that I don’t think effected the function. The solar controller box was full of wasps. I chase a bunch out and left moth balls for the rest. I did not plug the hole and hope most of the rest will leave on their own. I also smashed down the tules south of the solar panels. I left at 12:35 |
