Trip Purpose Install power jacks on PCs and NDVI_2

Tonzi Ranch:

Friday –
Fencer battery capacity depleted and fence is not putting out full 10 Kvolt pulse.

Webcam failed on 27Oct05

Install power jacks and plugs on floor and tower PCs.

Saturday-
Zero/span LI820 using digital interface software. Success.

Begin webcam diagnostics: voltage at 10.4 volts and this is low. Remove power plug and voltage rises to 11.8. Remove webcam and power it using computer power jack and the units LED indicates a successful boot and test sequence. Install webcam and readjust regulator to 12.5 volts. Successful, now able to view with Internet Explorer and snap picture with batch file execution.

Install radiation instrument leveling table on tower boom arm.

There are currently 2 Licor and 2 K&Z Par sensors mounted on the tower. I am not sure if data are being gathered from both of the K&Z sensors. This will be determined upon my next visit.
