I arrived at 15:00 PST. It was calm and cooling down, but still comfortable if you were standing in the sun. I passed two guys loading some hay bales underneath the overpass into their truck. The gravel road by Mayberry Slough and the grassy levee roads have all been mowed. At the tower, the nearby cows and the birds were both very talkative today. The staff gauge read 57cm.

I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I also downloaded the picam and stardot photos. The dfPAR data is still spiky. This dfPAR uses a Licor PAR sensor so there’s a resistor wired in with the PAR sensor on the CR10X. All the wiring looked snug. I cleaned flux and rad sensors and refilled the wash reservoir, which was almost empty. There were some spiderwebs criss-crossing the upper mirror of the 7700.

I changed the Canon camera coin cell battery in hopes that this will fix the problem that some daytime photos have a dark tint. The old battery was a CR1225 at 3.09V and the new battery was a CR1225 at 3.24V. I reset the camera’s clock to match my cellphone time and restarted the intervalometer.

I left at 15:45 PST. The cable gate was open when I arrived, but I didn’t see anybody else in the area when looking from the gravel road. I closed it on the way out, but it was missing the center lock, so for now the middle post can be easily removed.
