Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, water level a little higher, eddy clock +2min

2022-01-02
West Pond

Mike and I arrived at 13:10 PST. It was cold but mostly sunny. There were thin clouds and/or smog near the horizon. We could hear sounds of hunting, but not too close to us. The water level has come up and the staff gauge read 22 cm.

I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the miniDOT data and changed its desiccant. The miniDOT was barely in the water so I lowered it until it was ½ submerged (any lower and it seemed to hit the soil). The wash reservoir was 1/3 empty; I refilled it.

I changed the eddy clock +2min from 13:21 to 13:23 to match the laptop time and restarted logging.

I cleaned flux and rad sensors. I checked the conductivity sensor as part of its routine check every 3 months and confirmed the orifice was clean. The conductivity sensor was still dry and above the water.

LI-7500 readings:
CO2 447ppm
H2O 330ppm
T 8.8C
P 102.4kPa
SS 101--> 101 after cleaning
LI7700 readings:
CH4 2.9 ppm
RSSI 55--> 79 after cleaning

We left at 13:35 PST.
