Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, a little water at the tower now, changed eddy clock +1min
| 2021-12-14 West Pond Carlos and I arrived at 14:25 PST. It was chilly with a cold breeze. It was sunny with some cumulus clouds in the lower part of the sky. There was an atmospheric river in the past 48 hours that delivered about 50-75 mm (2-3 inches) of rain here. There are a few green tules poking out of the canopy but the wetland is mostly brown. There was actually a little water at the surface under the tower, probably from the recent rain. The staff gauge read 10cm. The upper boardwalk may need to be replaced soon. It's cracking and making crunchy sounds when we walk on it. Carlos cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data and topped off the wash reservoir, which was 1/3 empty. I reset the eddy clock from 14:32 to 14:33 and restarted logging after the change. LI-7500 readings: CO2 414ppm H2O 360ppm T 11.7C P 101.2kPa SS 100--> 102 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0 ppm RSSI 48--> 85 after cleaning We left at 14:40 PST. |
